The Business lab addresses the new landscape that musicians have to negotiate in order to make a living. Marketing, technology, business models, value chains, management, and copyright are all aspects that the Industry lab is interested in. The Industry lab will provide three main benefits to the music industry: a real-time global intelligence source; best practice principles and strategies for marketing music and building audiences in digital environments; and the ongoing analysis and development of business models for new industry conditions.
