Well, thinking about it, we may just keep that title!
Hey everyone!
We’re In Spite of Life! and this is our first attempt at blogging and letting the world read our incredible rants, so really the title may have been a default, but its sticks! This is pretty much an introduction to us because a lot of people don’t know who we are, so here’s the info.
We have Jess on lead vocals and guitar, Bec on backup vocals and bass, Stace going wild doing some rhythm guitar, lead guitar and sometimes keys and Carly Warly hittin up the big ones on drums. Oh yeah, we’re all girls 
Ok so we havent been around too long, we’re from Brisbane, Queensland and we formed at High school in late Novemeber of 2007, i found it was a grand month, quite exciting really. We used to have 5 members before we were In Spite of Life, we lost two and then gained Bec and its been an incredible journey the whole way through! I personally couldn’t wish for anything more!
Its been a crazy ride so far, starting at the beginning, we got offered to put one of our demo’s onto a cd founded by 272 records whom are based in California. So this was a big deal to us! Even if it was an unsigned band CD release. We found out that it’s been sold out many times from Amazon.com, which is where you can buy it. Its called The Mob Rules Vol.2 and we were happy to put our song New Age Drama Queen on there.
Now we talked to people and a lot said not to take the opportunity for it may be a scam of some sort, but of course we chose not to listen, kind of living by our band name, doing things In Spite of Life, In Spite of the fact that you are healthy, living, breathing human beings, going against the grain, going against what many people say is the impossible. We believe that nothing is impossible.
We’ve formed many friendships as a couple of years have passed, we are proud friends of The Cage Youth Foundation and play at many of their Mini Day Out events. They are incredible and kids absolutely adore the entertainment, which we love. We also Played at The EKKA (Brisbane Fair) in August 2008. That was a blast too! Nova had us playing on the radio for a couple of weeks and that felt amazing.
So right now at 10am July 23rd, we’re sitting here in a living room wondering what we’re gonna get up to next, now that this blog thingy is on the cards, we can always let you know!
